Kristan Barber, Founder and President
Kristan Barber has been actively involved in recruiting since she joined and helped launch Concentrique Executive Solutions in 1997, now known as ProFound. Her extensive experience and keen insight have built a reputation for exceptional client results through her constant drive to develop improved research processes and data resources.
Kristan leverages more than a decade of experience in executive placement, having managed all phases of both client and candidate recruiting relationships. In her current role, Kristan is responsible for managing ProFound's day-to-day operations, as well as leading ProFound's research services and resource development. Prior to joining ProFound, she held several positions with AT&T Wireless.
As a pioneer in recruiting and research for renewable energy and clean technology firms, she also has deep experience recruiting in the areas of policy, research and academia. Fluent in Spanish, Kristan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Evergreen State College.
Cathryn Connolly, Founder & Vice President, Development
Cathryn Connolly began her career in executive recruiting in 1987, ultimately co-founding Concentrique Executive Solutions in 1997, now known as ProFound.
Cathryn's management experience with Bell Atlantic, Pittsburgh High Technology Council, Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce and E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, has made Cathryn a valuable asset to her clients, both large and small, over the past two decades. Cathryn has created and maintained relationships with and delivered innovative executive recruitment and placement solutions to a diverse client base of business leaders from major management consulting and Fortune 500 firms and the portfolio companies of leading venture capital funds based in the United States, Western Europe and Latin America.
Having won numerous awards for her management expertise, Cathryn has served on the board of directors of a national human relations organization, and been a featured speaker at a number of global communications conferences. She attended the University of Houston.
Amy Ancira, Vice President, Service & Recruiting
With over a decade of experience, Amy Ancira leads ProFound’s recruiting and client service efforts. Amy joined the firm in 1998 where she focused on the placement of senior-level executives within leading technology and management consulting firms nationally and internationally. Additionally, Amy has played a key role in spearheading the development of client services including enhanced processes for candidate tracking and candidate management.
In her previous experience with Tatum LLC, one of the largest executive services and consulting firms in the U.S., Amy further developed her leadership and recruiting skills in accounting, finance and information technology. Responsible for recruiting talent for Tatum’s accounting and finance consulting practice as well as for clients in multiple industries, Amy worked closely with internal stakeholders and external hiring managers to successfully meet client needs.
Amy has a wealth of experience in a variety of industries including renewable energy, clean technology, construction, semiconductor, manufacturing, entertainment, software, hardware, social policy research and education. Amy graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelors of Fine Art.
